Why most of what you drink runs straight through you — and how to actually feed your body with light.

The Sun In Your Water
I love ideas that make me question things I believed so deeply, I never even thought to question them.
The kind that don’t just make me think, but make me rethink everything.
Especially when they challenge the source itself. Because if the source is not what we think it is, then maybe everything built on top of it isn’t either.
These are the ideas worth sitting with. And this one is a good one.
Adam & Eve — From Light to Matter

Adam & Eve
What if the story of Adam and Eve was never about shame, or knowledge but actually about food?
In the Garden of Eden, the story says everything was provided. Adam and Eve walked with God. They didn’t suffer. They didn’t sweat. They didn’t die. They were complete.
What if the way they were complete was simple: they got everything they needed directly from the sun, air, water & the earth. Pure light, pure water, pure energy — the way every plant on this planet still does, the way every cell of your body still does at the deepest level. They didn’t need to eat. They were hooked into the source.
Then comes the apple.
They ate it. They tasted matter. They tasted dependency. And from that moment on, the system flipped. They were thrown out of the garden, and they began the long, exhausting cycle every human after them has known: hunger, food, hunger again, food again, until the body breaks and you die.
The fall was eating.
Read it that way and the whole story rearranges itself. The serpent didn’t tempt them with knowledge — it tempted them with matter. With needing something outside of themselves to feel full. With the trap that has kept humanity busy for the last 6,000 years: chasing the next meal, the next fix, the next thing to consume.
And the way back? It’s not heaven. It’s not waiting to die. It’s right here, in this lifetime: remember how to receive energy directly. Sun. Water. Air. Earth. The four elements that were already in the garden before anyone ate anything.
I’m not telling you to stop eating. I’m telling you to see what’s underneath the story.
Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. And everything that follows in this article — the water, the sun, the pineal gland, the man who lived 411 days on light alone — starts to look less like a wellness trend and more like a memory we are slowly recovering as a species.
So let’s start with the simplest thing on the table. The glass of water in front of you.
Water Has A Memory
Before we go anywhere with the sun, you have to know about a Japanese researcher named Masaru Emoto (1943–2014). His work changed how I look at the glass on my desk.
Emoto did something simple and stubborn: he took water samples, exposed them to different inputs — written words, spoken words, music, prayers — then froze them and photographed the ice crystals under a microscope.

Masaru Emoto — The Hidden Messages in Water
What he found:
→ Water exposed to “love,” “gratitude,” “thank you” formed beautiful, complete, hexagonal crystal structures — geometric, symmetric, alive-looking.
→ Water exposed to “hate,” “fool,” “you make me sick” formed broken, chaotic, ugly patterns — like the structure had been violated.
→ Mozart and Beethoven produced different patterns than heavy metal. Prayers produced different patterns than insults. The water recorded what was around it.
His most famous book, The Hidden Messages in Water (2004), became a global bestseller. The mainstream scientific community largely dismissed it — the methodology wasn’t tight enough, the photography too selective. Fair criticism.
But here’s the kicker:
Emoto’s central claim — that water holds and transmits structure from its environment — turned out to be the soft poetic version of what hard science is now confirming in the lab.
Stay with me. This is where it gets real.
Your Blood Is Not What You Think It Is
We are 70% water. Everyone knows that. Nobody asks the next question:
What kind of water?
Because the water inside your cells, inside your bloodstream, inside the soft tissue holding your eyes in your skull — that’s not the liquid you pour from a bottle. It’s structured. Gel-like. Closer to a soft crystal than to a fluid.
Dr. Gerald Pollack, a bioengineering professor at the University of Washington, has spent 20 years showing this in his lab. He calls it the Fourth Phase of Water — or EZ water (Exclusion Zone water). Not solid, not liquid, not vapor. Something in between. And the wild part:
The energy that builds this water in your body comes from the sun. Specifically, infrared light.
Read that again. The water that powers your cells is built by light. Not by you drinking more bottles.
This is the same water that fills the leaves of every tree, the flesh of every fruit, the cells of every animal that ever stood under the sun. It’s the medium of life. And it carries charge — it acts like a battery your mitochondria can plug into.
Regular tap water has none of that charge. It’s dead water. Your body knows it. So it flushes it.
Now circle back to Emoto. He was photographing the structure of water and showing that it changes based on what’s around it. Pollack is measuring the structure of water and showing that it forms ordered crystalline zones based on the energy around it. Different language. Same phenomenon. One came at it through poetry, the other through electrochemistry. They’re both pointing at the same truth: water is not a passive liquid — it’s a recording medium, a battery, an antenna.
The Fix Is Stupidly Simple: Put The Sun In Your Water
Take a clean glass bottle. Fill it with purified water — not distilled. Put it outside in direct sunlight. That’s it.
Summer: 4 hours. Winter: 6 to 8 hours.

Suncharged Water
The sun’s infrared energy restructures the water. It charges it. Now when you drink it, your body recognizes it as something it can actually use — the same kind of energy it expects from a tomato pulled off the vine, from a watermelon, from a glass of fresh-pressed orange juice.
Your body keeps it. Profits from it. Builds with it.
The Questions Everyone Asks
“Should I boil the water first?” No need. The sun does the work, not the heat.
“Can I put it in the fridge afterwards?” No. The compressor’s electromagnetic field discharges it. Same with phones, microwaves, wifi routers. Keep it at room temperature in the open. Want it cooler in summer? Use a clay vessel.
“How long is it good for?” 24 hours. Then re-sun it. Best practice: always have one jar charging outside while you drink yesterday’s.
“Glass or plastic?” Glass. Always. Plastic leaches into water under sunlight — the opposite of what you want.
“Does it have to be in direct sun?” Direct is best. A windowsill works in a pinch, but glass blocks some of the infrared. Outside is the gold.
Bonus Move: Freeze It First
Tap water carries memory — chemicals, pipes, electromagnetic fields. Freezing wipes the slate. Freeze it in a glass container, let it melt at room temperature, then put it in the sun. Cleanest possible charge.
Frozen → melted → sun-charged. That’s the upgrade.
Bonus on top: write a word on the jar. “Love.” “Gratitude.” “Falemnderit.” Emoto’s experiments suggest the water reads it.
Why Fruit Works And A Protein Bar Doesn’t
Now zoom out. Everything alive on this planet runs on this same logic.
A tomato hanging on the vine all summer is basically a small reservoir of sun-charged water wrapped in skin. Same for a grape. Same for a leaf of spinach. Same for the milk of a cow that grazed on grass that drank rain that fell through sunlight.
Your body recognizes all of it. Keeps all of it. Profits from all of it.
Now look at a protein bar. Or a frozen lasagna. Or a Coca-Cola. Made in a factory. Sealed in plastic. Shipped through warehouses. Never touched by a single ray of sun.
It has no charge. No structure. No light stored inside.
Your body takes the few raw molecules it can pull out, and treats the rest like dead water — flushes it, stores it as junk, or worse, sends it to the immune system as a problem to clean up.
This is why you can eat a 1,000-calorie processed meal and feel hungry an hour later. No light was delivered. The energy ledger doesn’t balance. The simulation rewards what’s real, not what’s labeled.
Back To The Garden
Now go back to the Adam and Eve story we opened with. Read it again with this layer underneath:
Pure sun-charged water and direct sunlight — that was the original menu. Everything alive on this planet, except us, still eats that way. The plants do it directly through photosynthesis. The animals do it one step removed by eating the plants. The humans, before the apple, were hooked in.
After the apple, we became the only species on Earth that depends on processing, cooking, packaging, and consuming dead matter. We invented agriculture. We invented industry. We invented the supermarket. And in the process, we forgot the original interface.
Every spiritual tradition has tried to remind us. Jesus fasting for 40 days in the desert. Moses fasting on the mountain. The Buddha sitting under the Bodhi tree. The Sufi mystics. The Jain monks. The yogis in the caves of the Himalayas. They all knew that not eating was not weakness — it was a doorway back.
And in our time, one man reopened that doorway in front of 21 medical doctors with brain scans running. His name was Hira Ratan Manek.
The Man Who Lived 411 Days On Sun And Water

Hira Ratan Manek — HRM
Indian engineer. Born 1937. Retired from his family’s shipping business in 1992 and dedicated himself to studying sun gazing — the same practice the Egyptians, the Greeks, the Native Americans, and the Jain monks all practiced thousands of years ago.
In 2000–2001, in Ahmedabad, India, HRM did something that should not be biologically possible:
He lived 411 consecutive days without eating a single bite of food. Only sun-charged water and direct sun gazing.
This was not some guru in a cave with no witnesses. He was monitored the entire time by an international team of 21 medical doctors and scientists, led by Dr. Sudhir Shah — a respected neurologist — alongside Dr. K.K. Shah, then acting president of the Indian Medical Association.
He was later studied at Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. NASA showed interest. The team examining his brain was led by Dr. Andrew Newberg, a leading authority on the brain. They found two things that should not happen in a 60+ year old man:
→ The grey matter in his brain was regenerating, not deteriorating.
→ His pineal gland had grown — it measured 8x11mm, when at his age it should have shrunk to around 6x6mm.
This isn’t theory. This isn’t a TikTok wellness trend. This is documented under medical observation, with photographs, blood work, and brain scans. HRM lived until 2022, when he died at 85 in Kozhikode, India.
The Pineal Gland: Your Antenna To The Source

Pineal Gland — Suncharging your body
We need to slow down on this gland, because it’s the whole bridge between the physical and the spiritual side of this story.
The pineal gland is a tiny pinecone-shaped structure sitting almost exactly in the geometric center of your brain. About the size of a grain of rice. For most of medical history, it was considered useless — a vestigial leftover.
Then we found out what it actually does:
→ It produces melatonin — the hormone that runs your sleep-wake cycle, your circadian rhythm, your daily energy.
→ It produces serotonin — the neurotransmitter that runs your mood, your sense of well-being, your baseline happiness.
→ It contains photoreceptor cells — the same kind of cells that are in your retina. Your pineal gland literally has eyes inside your skull. Why? Because it responds to light.
→ It produces DMT — the same molecule released in profound spiritual experiences, near-death experiences, and ayahuasca journeys.
Now look at what every spiritual tradition for the last 5,000 years has called this exact spot:
→ The Hindus call it the Ajna — the Third Eye chakra.
→ The Egyptians drew it as the Eye of Horus — and the cross-section of the human brain matches that symbol almost perfectly.
→ Descartes called it “the seat of the soul” — the place where mind and body meet.
→ The Catholic Church carved an 8-foot pinecone and put it in the courtyard of the Vatican. The Court of the Pinecone.

The Court of the Pinecone in Vatican
Every culture, on every continent, with no contact with each other, pointed at the same gland and said: this is where you connect to something higher.
And HRM proved that staring at the sun makes it physically grow.
Think about that for a second. The organ every mystic in human history has identified as the antenna for higher consciousness, the gateway to the divine, the seat of the soul — responds to sunlight by growing larger and producing more of the chemicals that regulate your mood, your sleep, your sense of meaning.
This is not a coincidence. This is the design.
Modern life has done exactly the opposite of feeding this gland. We wake up to phone screens. We work under fluorescent lights. We sleep with wifi 2 meters from our heads. We eat fluoride — a chemical that calcifies the pineal gland — in our toothpaste and our tap water. We never look at the actual sun.
Then we wonder why we feel disconnected, depressed, lost, foggy, asleep.
Your antenna has been buried.
Sun Gazing: The Full Protocol

Sungazing
Doctrine and Covenants 88:67 “And if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things.”
This is the exact protocol HRM taught around the world. It is safe if you respect the rules. It is dangerous if you don’t. Read every line.
The Non-Negotiable Rules
→ Only during the safe window: the first hour after sunrise, OR the last hour before sunset. Outside that window, the UV will damage your retina. No exceptions.
→ Stand barefoot on the earth — on grass, dirt, sand, or stone. Not on tile, not on concrete with shoes. Connection to the ground is part of the protocol.
→ No glasses, no contacts, no glass between you and the sun. Direct light only.
→ Drink a glass of sun-charged water before and after. The practice is cleansing — the water carries the toxins out.
→ Blink naturally. Don’t strain. If your eyes water, let them water. Don’t wipe them — just blink.
→ Cloudy day? Gaze at the spot where you know the sun is.
The Build-Up: 10 Seconds A Day
Day 1: 10 seconds.
Day 2: 20 seconds.
Day 3: 30 seconds.
Add 10 seconds every single day. That’s it. No shortcuts.
Already comfortable looking at the sunrise? Don’t jump ahead. Start where you are and add 10 seconds a day. If you’re comfortable at 30 seconds today, you’re at 40 tomorrow. The discipline is the practice.
After 9 months of daily practice, you reach 44 minutes. That is the full charge — the level where HRM said the practice is complete and you stop adding seconds. According to the protocol, you do not go beyond 44 minutes — past that point, the benefits reverse.
What Happens In Your Body
Light enters through the optic nerve, travels to the brain, hits the pineal gland. The gland responds the way it was designed to respond — by waking up, growing, and producing more melatonin and serotonin.
Practitioners report — and HRM’s medical observation confirmed:
→ Emotional balance returns. Mental fog clears. Sleep deepens.
→ Physical issues start to dissolve. Hunger drops. Energy stabilizes.
→ (44 minutes reached): Colors brighter. Senses sharper. The world feels different. A different person looks back at you in the mirror.
The Bigger Picture
Here’s where I want to slow down with you.
We live in a system that has spent the last 100 years convincing us that everything important comes from a factory, a pharmacy, or a supermarket shelf. That health is complicated. That we need experts, supplements, machines, subscriptions.
Meanwhile, the sun rises every single morning, and we drive past it on the way to buy electrolyte powder.
Think about that for a second.
Every plant on this planet runs on sunlight. Every fruit you’ve ever eaten is concentrated sunlight. Every cell of your body was built by an organism that ate something that ate something that ate sunlight. The sun is not a metaphor. The sun is the actual energy source of every breath you take.
And we forgot.
Our ancestors didn’t. The Egyptians built temples to the sun. The Greeks called him Apollo. The Inca called him Inti. The Albanians have an entire layer of pre-Christian symbolism around the sun and the eagle.

What To Do This Week
Don’t make this complicated. Don’t research it for six months. Don’t buy anything. Just do this:
-
Tonight. Fill a clean glass bottle with filtered water. Write “love” or “falemnderit” on the side with a marker. Set it where it will catch the morning sun.
-
Tomorrow morning. Step outside barefoot during the first hour after sunrise. Look toward the sun for 10 seconds. That’s it. Just 10.
-
Set the jar in direct sun for 4–6 hours. Drink it through the day. Don’t refrigerate. Don’t keep it near your phone or your wifi router.
-
Tomorrow. Same thing. 20 seconds of gazing. Fresh jar of water in the sun.
-
Repeat for 30 days. Then reflect on it, if you changed or not.
This is free. This is ancient. This is exactly what your great-great-grandfather did every morning of his life without thinking about it. We’re not discovering anything new here. We’re remembering something old.
Eat the Sun
Documentary — “Eat The Sun” — the full story of HRM’s 411-day fast and the people who tried to follow him. Watch it. Then decide if you’re still drinking plain water.
Closing
There’s a moment in the simulation where you realize most of what you’ve been told about your own body was built to sell you something.
Hydration sells bottles. Energy sells supplements. Health sells medicine. Spiritual awakening sells courses.
But sunlight is free. Water is free. Standing barefoot on the earth is free.
And these three free things, combined, are most of what your body has been begging you for since the day you were born.
Emoto showed us water listens. Pollack proved water structures itself with light. HRM lived 411 days on it under medical observation. The story of Eden, read with new eyes, was always about food. Every spiritual tradition for 5,000 years has pointed to the same gland in your skull.
They’re all saying the same thing. You forgot how to receive.
You don’t need to do 411 days. Do 7. Do 30. Just stop pissing your water down the toilet and start storing the sun in it.
